THE GARY R'NEL SHOW-YES, INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW.

It astounds and perplexes me that many Talk Radio hosts today set their GPS's to one of several routes. Bashing the opposition party, branding incessantly, engaging in limited conversation with the listener or attempting to redefine the News/Talk format to make it "funny". Why is the R'nel show unique? Major market  News/Talk credentials and the unrelenting passion to  develop a relationship with the listener while Informing & Entertaining.

It is my unwavering desire to leave the listener in a "panic" at the close of the show not knowing how they will survive the psychological trauma of not hearing me for the next 23 hours. Pure & Simple. 

     Our Democracy is Under Assault

The huge  ideological chasm  concerning politics and culture in our Republic is firmly ensconced in our fruited plain.  Yes, it is indicative of a healthy Democracy. But, (Yes-R'nel tell us-go ahead) I harbor many reservations and uncertainties about where the depth of our differences have taken us. This is not our Manifest Destiny. Exercising First Amendment Rights within a civil discourse is the only platform which will produce solutions to many vexing problems. Both parties need to put forth policy ideas and not personal vendettas. THE R'NEL SHOW-Intrinsically Entertaining  & Informative. I tell the listener on every show that "You are the most important part of the program". Some retort "No R'nel, you are". Who am I to argue.
